Can the Explorer Bottle go in a dishwasher?
No, this bottle is hand wash only. Be careful not to fully submerge it in water, as this can affect the vacuum insulation.
Are there any things I need to be aware of?
We don't advise this bottle be used to keep milk or baby food products.
Avoid using it to keep perishable drinks (that can expire) for extended periods of time.
When storing hot liquids, keep out of reach of children.
To ensure that it is 100% leak proof, make sure the silicone seal is properly positioned within the lid.
Keep upright and note that hot liquids can scald.
How should I clean it?
Before first use, be sure to clean with warm soapy water. Clean regularly.
Avoid immersing it fully in water. Allow to dry completely after washing.
Make sure you store with lid off, allowing air to circulate inside.
How do I get rid of stains on the inside?
If your drinks have stained the inside of the bottle, fill with hot water and stir in one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (NB - do not close lid when doing this).
Leave overnight for best results. You can also use a solution of vinegar and water - but wash thoroughly afterwards with hot soapy water to remove any taste or smell.
Is it possible to put this bottle in a microwave?
The Explorer Bottle is not microwave-safe.
